Packing Peanuts

We were given a large bag of packing peanuts by a lady in a book shop and have been happily playing with them all half term.

First we added different countainers, tongs and  the inside of a cracker box and had fun sorting the packing peanuts. Isaac loved finding all the “s” shapes!  This all descended into general throwing chaos when the big ones joined in!

Then I got thoroughly over excited when I discovered some of the packing peanuts were made of cornstarch and when wet could be stuck together! You can buy it in the shops its called magic maize.

Armed with a wet towel, paper and felt tips they got busy creating some 3D art, Ev made himself and our house, Isa made a fire station and pole and Lil made Rapunzels tower complete with balcony and trees!

Hooray for free fun!
